1. A model trained to edit, not to generate
General chatbots are trained to produce text. Ask one to “make this sound human” and it tends to hand back the same polished register it started with. Our model is trained for a narrower job: take an existing draft and return the version a good human editor would, keeping its length, structure and meaning close to the original.
In practice that means cutting warm-up phrases, swapping ceremonial words for plain ones, breaking up sentences that all share one rhythm and dropping the stock metaphors readers skim past.
2. Checks on every rewrite
Before you see a result, it’s screened against your original:
- Numbers must match exactly. A rewrite that turns 18 volunteers into “nearly twenty” fails.
- Locked phrases (names, quotes, product terms you mark) must appear character-for-character.
- Length must stay close to the original, so nothing gets quietly padded or cut.
If no rewrite passes, Humanizer Studio gives you your original back and says so. A worse draft that looks finished is the most expensive kind of mistake.
3. Two places to run it
| On device (Free) | Cloud (Plus & Pro) | |
|---|---|---|
| Where it runs | In your browser, on your GPU | On our servers |
| Your text | Never leaves your computer | Sent only when you press Humanize; not stored in our database |
| Model | Compact, downloaded once | Larger and stronger |
| Needs | A WebGPU browser (recent Chrome, Edge or Safari) | Any browser and a subscription |
What we don’t do
We don’t show AI-detector scores, and we don’t promise to beat them. Detectors disagree with one another and routinely flag text people wrote themselves, especially writing by non-native English speakers. A number that swings depending on whose detector you ask isn’t a quality measure. Whether your reader keeps reading is.
