The short version: we built Humanizer Studio so the free version never sees your writing at all, and the paid version sees it only for as long as it takes to rewrite it.
Your drafts
- On-device (free) model. Your text is processed by a model running in your own browser. It is never sent to us.
- Cloud (Pro) model. Your text is sent to our rewriting service only when you press Humanize, and only to produce your result. We don’t store your draft or the rewrite in our database.
- In the page. Drafts are held in the page’s memory, not saved to your browser storage. Refreshing or closing the tab clears them.
What we do store
- Waitlist. If you join, we store your email address, the date and which page you joined from. We use it to email you when the studio opens, and for nothing else. We don’t sell or share it.
- Accounts. You only need one for a paid plan. We store your email address, when you signed up and, if you use Google sign-in, Google’s account identifier for you. Sign-in codes and session tokens are stored only as one-way hashes and expire (codes after 10 minutes, sessions after 30 days).
- Paid plans. Your subscription status, billing period and how many words you’ve used, so we can apply your allowance. Not your text.
- Cookies. Signing in sets one essential cookie that keeps you signed in, plus a short-lived one during Google sign-in. Neither is used for advertising.
- Payments. Handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
Services we rely on
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes standard request data (such as IP address) to serve and protect it. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful; it sets cookies and receives standard browsing data such as pages viewed, device type and approximate location, but never your drafts. Sign-in emails are sent through Cloudflare. If you choose Google sign-in, Google confirms your email address to us. Payments go through Stripe. Each handles data under its own privacy policy.
Your choices
You can opt out of Google Analytics with any tracker blocker or Google’s opt-out add-on. To leave the waitlist, delete your account, or to ask what we hold about you and have it deleted, email privacy@humanizerstudio.com. We’ll reply within 30 days.
Changes
If we change how we handle your data, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. If a change is significant, we’ll email waitlist members and account holders before it takes effect.
